State Representative Jim Viebrock, in a joint effort with State Representative Marilyn Rustman, honored former U.S. Congressmen, Mel Hancock by naming a two-mile stretch of I-44 after the esteemed lawmaker. “When I decided to run for office, I went to Congressman Hancock for advice, that six hours of conversation was perhaps the most insightful guidance I could have ever received”, Viebrock recalls. “I keep his suggestions in the back of my mind as I deal with my House colleagues”. “His teachings have proved very helpful”.
